2024-25 U13 BB/B Evaluations
Welcome to the 2024-25 U13 Jr Rangers BB/B Evaluations. Please read the following carefully so you understand how to navigate the process.

There will be two teams (Red & Blue) chosen from the group of players trying out at U13 BB/B. All updates and release information for both the Red and Blue Teams will be posted on the Red website until the evening of Tuesday May 7th.

The 7-day evaluation period will be structured as follows;

  • Prior to the first tryout, you will receive an email (to the address provided at registration) indicating whether their player is placed into group 1 or 2 for the weekend sessions. Please arrive at least a half hour prior to your ice time to check in at the registration desk. Players will be provided with an information package that includes a web ID# that will be used to track whether players are released or moving on. Please make sure all players have a jersey with them in their bag.
  • The first set of releases will be on Sunday evening after the third evaluation session. All remaining players will be eligible to play in one or both of the following two intrasquad scrimmages on Monday and Tuesday.
  • Following the Tuesday intrasquad scrimmage, players will be divided into two groups. Those that are invited to participate in the final evaluation for the Red Team on Wednesday evening, and those that are invited to participate in the final evaluation session for the Blue Team on Friday evening.
  • After the scrimmage vs Waterloo Wolves on Wednesday evening, the Red Team will send out their final selections. Any players released from the Red Team on Wednesday will be eligible to attend the final session for the Blue Team on Friday.

After the Tuesday session, any players eligible for the Blue team can refer to the U13 BB/B Blue website.

The coaches are looking for complete players. Meaning, beyond talent, players that can play a team game, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and bring a positive and constructive attitude to the rink.

On behalf of the coaches, thanks for your interest and look forward to the week ahead!

The Timbits Minor Sports Program is a community-oriented sponsorship program for children four to eight years old who participate in local house league sports teams. Tim Hortons currently sponsors over 200,000 children who play on hockey, soccer, lacrosse, t-ball, baseball and ringette teams across Canada and in the United States. Each sponsored team is supplied with Timbits Minor Sports jerseys or T-shirts. Timbits hockey teams are often given the opportunity to play on-ice scrimmages during intermissions at Junior, American Hockey League (AHL) and National Hockey League (NHL) games and do so with our own KITCHENER JR.
