KITCHENER JUNIOR RANGER U16AAA Training Camp
With training camp fast approaching, the coaching staff would like to highlight what is expected of the players not only during camp, but if they are successful in earning a spot on the 2024-25 Kitchener Junior Rangers U16 AAA roster.

With training camp fast approaching, the coaching staff would like to highlight what is expected of the players not only during camp, but if they are successful in earning a spot on the 2024-25 Kitchener Junior Rangers U1AAA roster.

We expect a high level of commitment from our players. We aim to help them be more confident, skilled, physically stronger and tactically sound. We will be looking for good teammates who enjoy being students of the game and be the best player they can be. Creating the right culture is very important to our program.

Things to remember prior to camp:

  •        Please arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to ice sessions
  •        Register in the lobby to receive a pinny and tryout number – this number will be yours throughout camp. Pinnies are to be hung up in the room after each skate. Players moving forward in camp will see their numbers posted online KMHA U16AAA WEBSITE. Exhibition game line ups will be posted online here as well
  •        Players are reminded to bring proper off-ice attire (running shoes/shorts)
  •        Players will warm up as a group
  •        Players are to double check equipment making sure they are prepared and ready to play
  •        Players are expected to report all injuries prior and post ice sessions to athletic staff

Looking forward to a competitive training camp!

Timbits
The Timbits Minor Sports Program is a community-oriented sponsorship program for children four to eight years old who participate in local house league sports teams. The program's philosophy is not based on winning or losing - but on learning a new sport, making new friends, and just taking time out to be a kid. Tim Hortons currently sponsors over 200,000 children who play on hockey, soccer, lacrosse, t-ball, baseball and ringette teams across Canada and in the United States. Each sponsored team is supplied with Timbits Minor Sports jerseys or T-shirts. Timbits hockey teams are often given the opportunity to play on-ice scrimmages during intermissions at Junior, American Hockey League (AHL) and National Hockey League (NHL) games and do so with our own KITCHENER JR. A RANGERS. Tim Horton's once again sponsor's our 40 entry level HL teams this year.

Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada
Our friends at Toyota continue to support Kitchener Minor Hockey by returning as a House League Gold Sponsor yet again for this season. Toyota also sponsors the Toyota Challenge featuring teams from the region in competition and the opportunity to travel to Japan. The Toyota Hockey Challenge consists of round robin competition amongst top Kitchener, Waterloo & Cambridge teams, with the top two teams then competing in a one-game show down that will determine the team to represent the Tri-Cities in a once-in-a-lifetime cultural exchange to Japan. The team that wins the Toyota Hockey Challenge will travel to Hokkaido, Japan during March Break for a cultural exchange with the Tomakomai Allstars, all expenses paid by TMMC. Thanks Toyota!
