Welcome to U11 AAA KJR Evaluations
Hello U11 Families,

I am Josh Bedard, the head coach of the U11 Kitchener Jr. Rangers AAA team for the upcoming 2024/25 season. As tryouts approach, I want to clarify the posted times on the KMHA website. Tryouts commence on Saturday, April 20th, with three morning ice sessions on both Saturday and Sunday. The plan is to divide players into three equal groups for their first two ice times. I will assign ice times shortly after receiving the latest list of registrants from KMHA. If you haven't registered yet, please do so immediately.

The groups will be labeled as Group 1, Group 2, and Group 3, and their assignments will be posted on the website by Wednesday, April 17th, 2024. Once your player is assigned to a group, it is your responsibility to ensure they attend the correct ice time. The Saturday ice times for each group are as follows:

Group 1: 8:15-9:15 AM Saturday and 8-9 AM Sunday
Group 2: 9:15-10:15 AM Saturday and 9-10 AM Sunday
Group 3: 10:15-11:15 AM Saturday and 10-11 AM Sunday

On Sunday afternoon, April 21st, we will hold two intrasquad games. Players will be assigned to a team and participate in one of two intrasquad games on Sunday. Rosters for these games will be posted on the website by 6 PM on Saturday, April 20th. Following these games, our coaching staff will announce, via the website, which players are invited to the scrimmage against Halton on Tuesday, the 23rd. Players not listed on the website will have been released from the AAA tryouts and are encouraged to register for the U11 AA/A evaluations that start on Saturday, April 27th.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at [email protected].
